Rain & Make-Up Policy
Weather-related cancellations and make-up procedures
Rain Cancellations
- If a session is canceled due to rain or unsafe weather conditions, players will be eligible for a make-up session.
- Cancellations will be communicated in a timely manner when possible.
Make-Up Eligibility
- Make-up sessions are only offered for sessions canceled due to weather (rain).
- Missed sessions due to personal reasons (illness, schedule conflicts, travel, etc.) are not eligible for make-ups.
Make-Up Limitations
- Each player is allowed a maximum of 2 make-up sessions per month.
- Make-up sessions are subject to availability and are not guaranteed.
- Players may be placed in a different group of similar level for make-up purposes.
Scheduling Make-Ups
- Make-ups must be scheduled in advance and approved by CITA staff.
- Make-ups cannot be carried over to future months.
This structure ensures that all players receive fair opportunities while maintaining a consistent and organized training environment.
Payment Structure
Program enrollment, packages, and payment terms
Program Enrollment (Groups)
- All group programs are structured on a season basis.
- Full payment is required at the start of the season to secure a player's spot.
- A player's spot is only confirmed once payment has been completed.
Discounted Packages
- Any discounted programs must be paid in full upfront.
- All discounted packages are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Private & Semi-Private Lessons
- Private and semi-private sessions may be paid per session, or through pre-purchased packages.

Cancellation Policy
Group Sessions
Missed group sessions are not eligible for refunds or credits, except in cases covered under the rain policy.
Private & Semi-Private Lessons
- A minimum of 24 hours' notice is required to cancel or reschedule a lesson.
- Cancellations made within 24 hours will be charged in full.
- No-shows will be charged in full.
Rescheduling
- Rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
- All rescheduled sessions are subject to availability.
Refunds & Credits
- All program payments are non-refundable once the season has begun.
- No partial refunds will be issued for missed sessions.
- In exceptional circumstances, credits may be issued at the discretion of CITA.
Additional Policies
- Payments not received by the due date may result in loss of the player's spot.
- CITA reserves the right to adjust or reschedule groups if minimum enrollment (3 players) is not met.
- A 10-minute grace period is allowed for late arrivals; after this time, the session may be shortened accordingly.
Attendance Expectations
Commitment, punctuality, and program participation standards
Attendance
- Players are expected to attend all scheduled sessions consistently.
- Regular attendance is essential for proper development and group progression.
Punctuality
- Players should arrive on time and ready to train.
- A 10-minute grace period is allowed; after this time, the session may be shortened accordingly.
- Repeated late arrivals may impact the player's development and group participation.
Missed Sessions
- Missed sessions are not eligible for refunds or credits, except in cases covered under the rain policy.
- Players are encouraged to communicate absences in advance when possible.
Commitment to the Program
- Enrollment in a CITA program reflects a commitment to consistent participation.
- Lack of attendance may result in reevaluation of the player's placement within the program.
CITA Behavior Policy
Standards for respect, conduct, attitude, and parental support
Respect & Conduct
All players are expected to demonstrate:
- Respect toward coaches
- Respect toward other players
- Respect for facilities and equipment
Attitude & Effort
Players are expected to:
- Give full effort during sessions
- Stay engaged and focused
- Maintain a positive and coachable attitude
Discipline
Disruptive behavior, lack of respect, or refusal to participate may result in:
- Verbal warning
- Temporary removal from a session
- Further action if behavior continues
Parental Support
- Parents are expected to support the academy's structure, coaching decisions, and policies.
- Respectful communication at all times.
Uniforms & Equipment
CITA Uniform & Proper Attire Policy
Training Attire
Players must attend all sessions in appropriate athletic/tennis attire, including:
- Athletic shirt
- Shorts or skirt suitable for tennis
- Proper tennis shoes (no running shoes or casual footwear)
CITA Uniform (When Applicable)
- Players may be required to wear official CITA training apparel during sessions, events, or competitions when instructed.
- Uniform guidelines will be communicated as the program develops.
Equipment Requirements
Players must bring:
- Tennis racquet
- Water bottle
- Appropriate gear for training conditions (hat, towel, etc.)
Professional Standard
- Proper attire reflects discipline, respect, and commitment to the training environment.
- Players not dressed appropriately may be asked to sit out of the session.
